This rare and fabulous Meissen purple Indian covered vegetable is now for sale. It has a figure of a cherub with a cornucopia on the top cover. It was made in the 1880s-1890s. It has beautiful pink, white and gold scalloped handles. It is 13 3/8 inches wide, 8.25 inches tall and 10.875 inches deep. The purple Indian pattern of Meissen is my favorite, and it is very rare to find a covered vegetable with a figural cherub. This Meissen covered vegetable is in good antique condition. It would be a beautiful centerpiece for your table or a decoration for your sideboard. It would also be a stunning addition to your table setting.
