Description
This is a fabulous set of ten Spode made for Tiffany dessert plates, each hand-painted with a different elaborate flower bouquet, signed by renown Spode artist Charles Ferdinand Hurten (1821-1901). They were made between 1870-1890. They are nine inches in diameter. One plate is painted more beautifully than the next. Each plate has museum quality paintings, as you can see from the attached pictures. Each plate also has an intricate border of a jeweled decoration, which is really rare. These plates would be a gorgeous, and extremely special addition to your porcelain collection. They would look stunning displayed on your wall or in your special cabinet. They would also be a lovely addition to any dinner service as a dessert or luncheon plate, as your table would look as if it is decorated with 10 beautiful bouquets of flowers.
